The Forum for a new World Government (FnWG) is a place for debating about the ways and strategies to build a legitimate, effective, and democratic world governance. Not only do participants contribute innovative thinking on world governance, they also offer socially and politically viable proposals to get out of the current dead-end situation.
In 2008 and 2009, the Forum is articulated around the development of Proposal Papers. Located somewhere between thinking and action, the proposals, grouped together in these short publications on each of the fields of world governance, are intended both to serve as catalysts for an international collective debate and to constitute a tool to optimize and reinforce the actions of groups and individuals working on the implementation of new ideas and innovative practices that are up to the challenges of this early millennium.

The FnWG was born a little more than seven years ago, led by Gustavo Marin, hailing from the FPH, and Arnaud Blin, a longtime partner. In April 2013, Jean Rossiaud joined the two coordinators. On May 1, 2015 Gustavo Marin left the FnWG for a well-deserved retirement. Currently, Jean Rossiaud (Geneva) and Arnaud Blin (New York) are managing it jointly.

The Peace and Security indicator is broken down into two sub-indicators: the National Security sub-indicator and the Public Security sub-indicator. The National Security sub-indicator comprises: Conflicts, Refugees and Asylum Seekers, and Displaced Persons. The Public Security sub-indicator comprises: Political Climate, Degree of Trust among Citizens, Violent Crime, and Homicides per 100,000 Inhabitants.
